I bought this flash drive to transfer files from an older Windows 98 SE computer to a new Vista computer. The old Win 98 SE computer refuses to recognize it and the new Vista computer only recognizes it infrequently. Don't waste your money on this one. I finally purchased a Sandisk cruzer micro -- same size -- and it works with both operating systems all the time.
